Standing seam systems are available in a variety of metals including 24 and 22 gauge painted (PVDF, Kynar, Hylar) steel, aluminum, copper, zinc, stainless, weathering steel (cold-rolled and A606 steel) and titanium. The most common standing seam material is 24 gauge painted steel. The coatings used by U.S. Metals carry up to 35 year non-prorated warranties.

U.S. Metals standing seam metal roofing is suitable for both warm and cold roof constructions - any shape including curved and/or tapered, and any pitch from ¼ : 12 upwards. The system’s low weight, durability, speed of construction and adaptability make it equally suitable for new build and refurbishment projects.

Depending on the supporting structure and each individual application, the roof configuration can be adapted to suit the precise requirements of the building, such as design, snow and wind loading, and performance targets.

Available warranties include a finish warranty on painted metals, workmanship warranty and weather tightness warranty.
